This program prepares students to become licensed Nail Technician instructors in Utah. You’ll learn teaching skills, classroom management, and how to organize lessons and records. The training helps you get ready to pass the Utah licensing exam to teach future nail technicians.

Admission Requirements
-Adult students must provide their High School Transcripts, showing, at least, 8th grade math and a 11th grade reading with a C grade or better and be able to document an 18 or higher on their ACT scores for both reading and math; or take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) scoring at a 9th grade level for both math and reading.
-High school students must be in at least the 11th grade.
-Students must meet with the Program Director and be recommended by their Instructor to enroll in the program.
-Students must have a current State of Utah Division of Professional Licensing Nail Technician license; have been licensed for at least six months and are actively practicing.
-The Program Director provides final approval for enrollment as long as all other enrollment requirements have been met.
