Admission Requirements
-Students must provide transcripts of a completed post-secondary EMT course. If they do not have these transcripts then students must provide their High School Transcripts, showing, at least, 8th grade math and a 11th grade reading with a C grade or better and be able to document an 18 or higher on their ACT scores for both reading and math; or take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) scoring at a 4 for math portion and a 5 for the reading portion.
-All students must be licensed as an EMT with the State of Utah.
-AHA BLS certification will be completed during the first four hours of the program. If a student misses the first day of class, the student is responsible for obtaining BLS before the first day of class.
